Class subscriptions and repeating schedules explained
A repeating schedule creates multiple class sessions. A subscription class also connects sessions to recurring provider billing. ClassM8 supports both, so a weekly timetable does not have to imply automatic charges.

How a subscription starts
The studio defines a subscription class, sessions and billing interval. A student checks it out on its own, rather than mixing it with other products. The resulting subscription records provider and payment state.
Incomplete subscriptions have a supported payment retry workflow. Review pending or past-due state before assuming payment is complete. Staff can inspect upcoming billing in relation to the programme.
What the provider changes
ClassM8 integrates with Stripe and HitPay for recurring class billing. Its current HitPay recurring flow requests cards. One-off FPX or DuitNow QR checkout should not be described as automatic recurring billing.
Collection depends on merchant setup and provider events. Demonstrate initial checkout, renewal and failure with the provider your studio intends to use.
Trade-offs and cancellation
Students need a clear explanation of billing timing and cancellation. Repeating schedules without automatic billing need a separate purchase arrangement. ClassCards offer a different model for flexible attendance.
Cancelling a future booking and stopping recurring billing are different actions. Neither automatically refunds an earlier charge. Demonstrate the effect on future access and provider billing before agreeing your studio policy.
