Accounts and authority

Use accurate account information and keep it up to date. If you act for a studio or organisation, you must have authority to do so. Keep credentials and authentication codes private and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity you authorise through your account.

Studio owners manage staff permissions, student access and the information entered into their workspace. Students and staff must also follow the studio's applicable class, booking and conduct rules. Studios are responsible for appropriate parental or guardian permissions where relevant.

Service, plans and payments

ClassM8 provides tools for studio administration, scheduling, attendance, class access, subscriptions and payments. Features, seat limits, trial periods, prices and billing intervals depend on the plan and checkout terms presented to you.

Review the price, currency, renewal arrangements and cancellation terms before purchasing. Recurring charges may continue according to the subscription you authorise until cancelled under those terms. Payments may be processed by third-party providers. Refunds and cancellation requests are handled according to the terms shown at purchase and applicable mandatory law.

Payments for a studio's classes are distinct from platform subscription fees. The studio is responsible for its classes, teachers, availability, pricing, attendance decisions, student refunds and fulfilment.

Acceptable use

Do not access another studio's data without permission, share credentials improperly, bypass security or payment controls, send spam, distribute malware, scrape restricted information, or use the service unlawfully. API keys and integrations must be used within their granted permissions and applicable limits.

Upload only information and content you are authorised to use. You remain responsible for your records and communications. You permit us to process that content as needed to provide, secure and support the service.

Privacy and third-party services

Our Privacy Policy describes platform data handling. Studios must provide notices and obtain permissions required for their own use of personal information. Third-party payment, authentication and other integrations are also subject to their providers' terms and availability.

Availability and changes

We maintain and improve ClassM8, and may change features or perform maintenance. Outages or integration failures can occur. Any specific service-level commitment must be agreed separately. Keep appropriate copies of business-critical records and notify us of problems so we can investigate.

We may restrict access to address non-payment, security risks or material misuse. Where appropriate, we will explain the issue and provide an opportunity to resolve it. Closing an account does not remove outstanding payment obligations or records we must retain by law.

Ownership and responsibilities

ClassM8 software, branding and related materials remain the property of their respective owners. Your subscription provides access to the service under these terms and does not transfer ownership of the platform. You retain rights to the content you provide.

Each party is responsible for its conduct and obligations under applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable mandatory consumer protections.

Please contact us first through the contact page so we can try to resolve a service concern. These terms are governed by Malaysian law, subject to mandatory laws and protections that apply to you in another jurisdiction.

We may update these terms. Significant changes affecting an existing subscription will be communicated as appropriate, with any rights required by law. Review the version applicable to your plan and contact us with questions before continuing.
